Description

GRD is a new generation of radiological detectors. It is intended for use as an emergency radiological detector in case of accidents at potentially hazardous facilities.

GRD is designed to be built into security systems and inside special vehicles as an element of collective protection system.

GRD 3.1 includes one gamma radiation detector based on Geiger-Muller tube.

GRD 3.2 includes two gamma radiation detectors (Geiger-Muller tube). One to be placed inside the facility and the other to monitoring the background radiation uotside the facility.

GRD 3.3 includes two gamma radiation detectors. One detector based on Geiger-Muller tube and the second - highly sensitive scintillator CsI(Tl).

The indication unit displays the radiation detectors operation and the values of count rate and DER. The indication unit provides sound and light alarms and optionally commands for safety system actuators. The RCD 3.1/3.2/3.3 can be installed on special and civil vehicles as a detector of the collective protection system. The detector power supply voltage is 12-24V DC. The RCD 3.1/3.2/3.3 can be integrated into any security and environmental monitoring system.
